Nigerian music star, Davido promoted the music video of his new signee, Olamilekan Taiwo, aka Logos Olori via his social media pages on Friday, and the music video titled, Jaye Lo has since garnered negative reactions from the Muslim community.
The video was shot in a Mosque, where some men in white Jalabiya were seen observing prayers, after which the men switched to dancing as they recited some Quranic verses and prayed.
Nollywood actor, Ali Nuhu has also reacted to the trending controversial video, and he has advised Davido to pull off the video from social media, as he admonished entertainers who are trying to be creative to also learn how to respect other people’s religions, cultures, and traditions.
Logos Olori, who was born and raised in Ajegunle area of Lagos State on the 30th day of March 1999, got signed to DMW 2.0, when Davido rebranded and relaunched his new record label in March.
Davido who is currently on tour, across 8 countries and has 11 upcoming concerts, shared photos from an event where he admonished his fans to allow love rule, and he has deleted the video already.
