SolidStar, popularly known as Joshua Iniyezo came to limelight in 2010, after the release of his debut album, ‘One in a Million’ where he featured 2face Idibia in one of the singles.
Since then, he became the darling of music loving Nigerians, as his influence in the entertainment industry was noticed, until his decline in 2016/17, after the release of ‘My Body’ where he featured Timaya.
Solid Star Isoko has since, not released any song till date, and his whereabouts was unknown until recently, clips of the singer surfaced online, where was seen roaming the streets barefooted, looking ragged.
His brother, Joseph Iniyezo has responded to the video, as he used the opportunity to call for help, admitting that his brother has been suffering from mental illness, as it is the reason his brother have been out of the public space for a while.
The 34 year-old Delta State born indigene, began his career as a drummer in his hometown, before he was officially signed to Achievas Entertainment Co Nig.Ltd in 2012.
He is the last born in a family of four, and his stage name was given to him by his grandmother, who called him ‘Solid Star’, when he was staying in her care.
