The aftermath of Mohbad’s death have gone from bad to worse for Marlians Record Label, and the latest is the recent cancellation of Zinoleesky’s US tour by show promoters.
The show promoter says no one is buying tickets anymore and those who already bought are asking for refund.
The supposed reason for this could be as a result of the videos emerging from the internet, which showed how the label frustrated Mohbad, following his decision to leave the crew last year.
The viral videos showed lots of beatings, intimidation and threats, which could be the reason he fell into depression, because close friends revealed he constantly complained about how he couldn’t feed his wife and child as he use to, due to a certain record label who always told promoters that he is not mentally stable.
According to gistlover blog, the record label boss, Naira Marley will refund a sum of $48,000 that was earlier paid into his account.
There was protest today from Nigerians in some parts of the country, from fans seeking justice for the late Mohbad, who lost his life barely a week ago.
