As reactions from Nigerians, following the demise of late Mohbad continues, 75,000 signatures have been made online, for the ban of Marlian Records.
Last night, change.org launched a petition online, asking Nigerians who feel the record label, which is alleged to have a hand in the death of the rising singer, be banned.
The Record Label has released a statement to share thier condolence on the death of it’s former signee, and they have charged the Police to do due diligence regarding the untimely death of thier brother and friend.
After this statement was released, alot of Nigerians were not satisfied, as they hurled insults on the label and it’s owner.
Change.org holds the record for most successful online petition, following it’s petition relating to the murder of George Floyd in USA, in July 2020, with over 19.3 million signatures.
An online petition is more convenient and wider-reaching than paper-based petitions, as they are available to a larger audience, and easy to sign.
