The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), through it’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi has refuted widespread claims that Naira Marley is the new brand ambassador.
Naira Marley was seen in a viral video, which circulated the social media space on Thursday, where he vehemently condemned the abuse and usage of hard drugs, while advising youths to shun it’s patronage.

Pictures of Naira Marley posing with the chairman of the agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), at it’s headquarters in Abuja was seen online, and Mr Femi Babafemi admitted that, the celebrity visited the agency, but no appointment was made.
Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, is a British-Nigerian singer and song writer, and he is known as the president of “Marlians”, a fan base for people who take and use hard drugs, as it is always depleted in his music videos and lyrics.
He was arrested last year by the NDLEA, with some of his artistes, Mohbad and Zinoleesky, as they were later released few days after.
