Following the outcry on social media concerning the ill health of Veteran Actor, John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu, alot of people have contributed to the medical bills and surgeries have been done already.
As at the time of this report, five surgeries were reported to have been done by the hospital (name undisclosed), and his daughter took to her social media page to appreciate everyone who came through for the family.
“So far, Daddy has gone through 5 successful surgeries, and he is still recovering in the ICU. Daddy is immensely grateful and we are thankful to the general public during this phase of our lives. We appreciate all the donations made to this account, and as soon as Daddy is better he will personally acknowledge all donations”.
Although, he is still recovering in the ICU, and waiting to get stabilized so he can fly abroad for further advanced treatment.
The 62 year-old Enugu state-born thespian, who studied Mass Communication at the Institute of Management Technology, has featured in more than 200 Nollywood movies so far.
