There was fracas in Ketu area of Lagos state, after a mob beat a policeman to stupor.
The yet to be identified policeman, pushed a bus driver into the BRT lane, because there was a little misunderstanding between both parties, over a misunderstanding.
According to eye witness account, the driver was rammed by a BRT vehicle, after he was allegedly pushed by policemen in the Ketu area of Lagos State, as he collapsed due to the impact of the crash.
“The policemen caused this; they were the ones that were trying to dispossess the man of his vehicle and while trying to push the man out of the vehicle, they pushed him on the BRT lane and an incoming bus ran into the man,” an eyewitness said.
The mob were angry at the sight of the ordeal, and they beat the policeman till he fainted, but as at when this report was filed, the policeman had not died.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Police Public Relations Officer, says the case is under investigation by the force, and the public would get further information in no distant time.
