Popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has given birth to her first child with her husband, pastor Blessed Uzochikwa.
The singer, who didn’t reveal the gender or the name of her child, took to her Instagram page to express her joy, while giving glory to God for a safe delivery.
“Lord, we are grateful. We approach your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving. [You] filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed, you do this one”, she wrote.
The couple got married following a court wedding on the 4th of August 2022, after they had earlier held their traditional wedding in Port Harcourt, on 18th July 2022.
Mercy Chinwo started out as an actress, following her first movie in 2013 (House of Gold), featuring the likes of Majid Michel, Yvonne Nelson, Omawumi Megbele, Ice Prince Zamani, Eddie Watson and Francis Odega.
