Popular Music Star, Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr has revealed that she sold vegetables and fruits with her grandmother, before she joined Mavins Records in 2021.
She said she cultivated the habit of always singing for customers, who patronised her business, and she found pleasure in it.
Her siblings are also in the music industry, as four of them did music together, with the support of their mum, who is also a singer.
The 21 year-old Kwara state indigene, who was born in Cotonou, Benin, grew up in three different cities, Cotonou, Lagos and Abuja.
Ayra is an alumnus of Les Cours Sonou University in Benin Republic, where she graduated with a bachelor of arts, in international relations and political science.
