Popular Nigerian Dancehall Singer, John Odafe Asiemo, aka Daddy Showkey has revealed, on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session, how he received death threats from different quarters after the comments he made about Mohbad’s death.
In the previous Live Session, he told the public that there was more to the rapper’s death, while he pointed fingers at some powerful people in the music industry and society.
“Daddy Freeze, do you know after my last interview with you, I received a lot of death threats? Do you know after that interview, even people in government were threatening me?”, he said.
The task of unraveling the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death has started already, as his body as being exhumed for investigation.
53 year-old Daddy Showkey started his music career in the late 1990s, when he was in Ajegunle area of Lagos State, as his stlye of music (ghetto dance) stole the hearts of many Nigerians at the time.
