Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, who cried for help on his 62nd birthday three days ago, has received help from Bukola Saraki Foundation.
In the video that went viral on Instagram, the actor sat on his hospital bed, while his family members sang birthday songs, with gifts coming from friends and loved ones.
He repeatedly shook his leg while trying to stay seated, and his other leg looked swollen and in bad shape, as he begged Nigerians to come to his aid.
Alot of celebrities have responded since the viral video, as netizens showed thier displeasure with Nollywood as a whole, for neglecting thier very own.
The Bukola Saraki Foundation has responded swiftly to the actor’s plight, and has fully covered the medical expenses.
