The Lagos State Building Control Agency have began few demolition of distressed buildings in some parts of the state, after this was disclosed on the official Twitter handle of the State Government. Places like Mushin, Lagos Island, Oshodi, Ilupeju and Shomolu, have been earmarked for the demolition, as the government is bent on reducing the increase in number of building collapse in the State. The occupants of these buildings have been told to relocate to safer accommodations, because those places are visibly unfit for habitation.
